The Wanderers | Episode One
In ancient Greek the word planet means “wanderer.” We begin on Earth looking up at the five planets glowing in the sky that have captured our imaginations from the beginning of time. Suddenly we ascend to the cosmos and find ourselves suspended in space hovering above the Earth. Using your touch controllers you fly through our solar system exploring each unique world. You are transported to experience a glimpse of Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, Mars, and Saturn, the original wanderers of space and time.
We discover how planetary exploration satisfies our inclination for wanderings and quests that have been with us since our days as hunters and gatherers. Interacting with each world unlocks the frequencies of that planet omitting an orchestra of eerie and beautiful hums. The planets are brought to life as they begin to sing. This would be constructed using the real frequencies created by each planet. By visiting each one, you unlock a planetary orchestra composed by the cosmos. This is set to Carl Sagan’s words that help us discover that we were wanderers from the beginning.
