What does one do after being president of a superpower? Well, George W. Bush takes baths and paints his dogs and feet. GEORGE IN THE TUB's early prototype begins in the bathroom, but the full project will cover three distinct moments taken from George's paintings. The physical bathtub the user sits in (by extension the virtual bathtub George sits in) acts as a conduit transcending time/space: First to a bucolic Texas meadow painted in loose brush strokes complete with an oddly proportioned horse; Next, a colorful menagerie of beloved terriers. And finally, a gallery of somber united nations VIPs peering from out the canvas with utmost diplomacy.
