Currently based in LA, Lee Simpson is ustwo’s Head of TV and Entertainment where he currently oversees the strategic direction and delivery of ustwo’s work in the TV and entertainment industry. Developing partnerships with companies such as Comcast, Warner Bros. and NBCUniversal, he leads a dedicated team focused on exploring innovative products and experiences that help solve the complex challenges in the media and video content space.
For the past 14 years he has worked in technology and design, helping companies such as Google, American Express, Virgin and The Guardian launch digital products to millions of users. Progressing through engineering and design, to product strategy and leadership, his experience spans emerging technology, e-commerce, publishing and finance.
Lee has served as an mentor to startups on the Ignite100 accelerator programme for over 5 years and continues to work several of their alumni companies as a formal advisor. He has taught user experience and product design at schools across europe, including HyperIsland, Stockholm and has spoken at events and conferences in London, New York and Dallas.
Previous to ustwo, from 2013 to 2014 Lee was a Product Lead at The Guardian News and Media where he lead the development and global rollout of content management and workflow tools as part of the organization's Next Gen relaunch.
