Adam Rogers is the Executive Producer for the newly founded Gentle Manhands, one of the most innovative and irreverent VR studios in the world.
A career that started as a junior project manager for Technicolor’s DVD studio in London, he went on to produce some of the era's most innovative music DVDs, for bands such as Depeche Mode, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and the Black Eyed Peas.
Getting restless when the transition to digital media saw the decline of physical formats, Adam jumped at the chance to move to Vancouver, Canada with Technicolor. Here he gained valuable knowledge in the filmmaking process, producing in digital intermediates for films such as Sucker Punch and the cult classic Beyond the Black Rainbow.
With the rise of VFX in Vancouver, a move to MPC as a production manager seemed the logical next step. A VFX career that finished at Sony Pictures, it was then an opportunity of a lifetime came along.
Tyler Hurd the celebrated VR creator of BUTTS and Old Friend and founder of Gentle Manhands came calling. Chocolate was born, and the rest they say, is history.
